“a tergo” is the third studio album from HILTER, and their first for the Hikikomori Records. HILTER’s music is strange blend of musique concrete, dark ambient, noise and industrial. They use field recordings, TV/movie samples, analog synths, drum machines and various other instruments to create dark and atmospheric sound with strong cinematic feel. “a tergo” is very dynamic and intense album. Obscure and claustrophobic atmospheres, interleaved with voice samples and loops are constantly disrupted by sudden outbursts of noise and shifts in rhythm imposing a continuous sense of tension and paranoia.

Haiku Funeral consists of Bulgarian black metal vocalist Dimitar Dimitrov (Corpus Diavolus, Glades of Gloom, Unhealthy Dreams) on vocals and electronics and American progressive/avant-garde bassist William Kopecky (Yeti Rain, Far Corner, Snarling Adjective Convention, Kopecky, etc) on bass and vocals.

After more than 10 years since they played together as a duo called Ganglion, Ben Miller and Matt Weston reunited in summer of 2008. For this October 2008 performance at The Outpost in Boston, they added Roger C. Miller to create a drums-bass-guitar setup with all instruments as far-reaching as possible from their traditional intentions. This was also first time Roger and Matt played together. This gave the MMW Trio its first chance at making sound as a unique unit, and it turned out quite magical.

The VHM EP was recorded very quickly, using basic loops amd samples. The BAD EP was originally intended to be a full album. The two tracks consist of snatches of mixes in progress. These were transferred onto an old cassette from a friend that originally contained Michael Jackson's Bad album, and later, Type O Negative. This tape was used to test out new mixes and was full of overlapping snippets of music.
